lelann137wow do i feel better--the odd thing is, i didn't sleep last nite. i watched movies, played games online, and learned how to crochet. now, don't make fun of crochet. when i get good i can make scarfs and blankets for myself and others. just think of all the xmas and birthday presants that will be. of course, people will stop inviting me if i do that all the time, oh i know, every 5 years i'll do crochet gifts. yeah, i'm awesome. i mean, there's really nothing to make besides scarfs and blankets. oh you can make sweaters, but those kinda scare me, so ixnay on that. although, i bet my grandparents would love them, my mom maybe too.
ahhhh. anyways, when i was teaching myself with a book how to crochet...it was hard, i was confused why you held the hook in your left hand, but i figured it was so you could control the yarn with your dominant hand...oh no, after i got through all the lessons, i closed the book and watched boondock saints. then, i opened it again to start my scarf you know, cause i want results, right? yep, when i was looking up the double crochet...you guessed it, they were holding the hook in the right hand. apparently i was reading the special left handed directions. now, the funny part is that when i was learning the first time, it was damn hard and i figured that i would learn how to do it left handed to see if it was easier. damn, i felt like a heel... of course i figured this out at 4 am, and then i had to relearn all the techniques the opposite way. well, at like 4:30 (i really want results, screw the basics) i started my scarf. well, i started it over like 4 times, and i was getting annoyed, so yep, you guessed it, i went online to play backgammin. twas mucho fun. then after winning 5 games and losing 2, i decided to take a crack at the scarf again...well, i still have 10 rows, so i'm making progress.
enough about crocheting, i mean damn, that's a huge paragraph. oh well. my roommate's boyfriend's sister is spending the nite tonite. they should be here around 5:30ish...yep, fun all around.
i talked to tami today. she likes texas. ok, this is my longest post....must stop....can't stop writing....help help. haha, lets see how long i go without posting again.
